+ Chicago 4 - St. Louis 3
The Blackhawks kept their post season hopes alive yesterday after this OT win over St. Louis.
The Blues scored the go ahead goal late in the third period...but Chicago's James Winsiewski scored in the final minute of regulation to send the game into OT. Patrick Kane scored just 1:09 into overtime giving the Blackhawks the win.
Chicago is now just four points behind Colorado for the eighth and final Western Conference playoff spot with six games left in the regular season.
+ Philadelphia 4 - NY Islanders 1
Philadelphia moved into sole possession of seventh place in the Eastern Conference playoff standings with their win Sunday over the NY Islanders.
After the game Flyers coach John Stevens was particularly excited about the play of goalie Martin Biron. "I'm excited for Marty that he is gaining confidence as we move along. We've said all along if you are going to win this time of year, you need really good goaltending and Marty seems like he's getting more confidence as we move along."
Biron finished the game with 32 saves.
